Monthly musical workshops hosted by Mario Rincon & Mike Diago Final Session in 2017: Friday, December 1, 7-8 pm
Flamenco Fridays at Rosenspace is a series of “meet up” style events for anyone interested in expanding their understanding of flamenco song and guitar playing. Sessions will be hosted by cantaór (singer) Mario Rincon and guitarist Mike Diago and are open to enthusiasts of all backgrounds and skill levels. The first three sessions will be held on October 6, November 3 and December 1, from 7-8 pm.
Mario Rincon is a flamenco singer based in the Hudson Valley, NY. Raised in a family of flamenco artists, Mario has toured and performed extensively with the dance troupe Flamenco Vivo and with his father’s ensemble, Romeria Flamenca. Take a break from the sweltering summer sun! Chill out with fellow knittistas and crocheters at RosenSpace this Sunday from 1-4 pm, as we work and chat our way through our various projects, big or small. All skill levels welcome – free mini tutorials available for absolute beginners!
And for those with yarn to spare -Join our STASH SWAP! Bring in those skeins you just haven’t managed to finish off and trade them in for some that might better fit your current project(s). Or simply leave them for others to enjoy.

The Rosendale Seniors Conversation Club Club is being organized by Shaun Johnston, a senior and resident of Rosendale for 30 years. “We seniors have more life experience to draw on, and can remember back to when all our conversations were face to face. We’ll explore various ways to carry on conversations, and practice how to make it a richer experience. At the same time we’ll make friends, and build community, helping everyone. “
Following the Club meeting, participants are welcome to continue their conversations with Shaun over lunch at the Rosendale Cafe.
Starting October 4th, every first Tuesday of the month from 6-9 pm, join your friends at RosenSpace for a few hours of strategizing and brain-teasing fun, over a furious game of Risk, Scrabble, or any of our other board & card games. Feel free to bring your own, too!
